Vitafoods Europe 2026 was an incredible experience filled with insightful conversations, new collaborations, scientific discussions, and meaningful industry connections from across the global nutraceutical ecosystem.

Over 3 engaging days in Barcelona, our team at Vedic Lifesciences had the opportunity to connect with several global partners and professionals across the industry. Some memorable moments included networking sessions with industry peers, engaging booth experiences across the show floor, and celebrating innovation at the NutraIngredients Awards.

A theme that resonated strongly across many of our conversations was the need to rethink how clinical trials are designed from the ground up - not just what we test, but who we test it on. The industry is increasingly recognising that even the most promising ingredients can underperform in trials simply due to heterogeneous study populations and poor responder selection. It's a shift in mindset we deeply believe in, and one that has shaped how we approach every trial we run through our Vedic Elevate™️ framework - precision recruitment, responder enrichment, and adaptive design working together to give ingredients the biological context they deserve.

The event also gave us the chance to strengthen existing relationships while initiating new conversations around scientific substantiation, product innovation, and global market expansion.
