Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS‐1 and Bifidobacterium lactis UABla‐12 Improve Abdominal Pain Severity and Symptomology in Irritable Bowel Syndrome: Randomized Controlled Trial
Often called “The 5th largest probiotic study in digestive health”, this was a 319 subject trial conducted by Vedic for a US-based probiotic company across 12 sites in India. We studied the effect of 2 probiotic strains and placebo on adult men and women showing symptoms of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Our strong network of gastroenterologists (investigators) helped recruit participants for this study over a span of 11 months.
